Suzanne has been respected member of the English language teaching community for more than 30 years. She demobbed three years later and took up a secretarial post at a research laboratory where she worked with many overseas scientists.
Suzanne edited a number of natural history publications and in 1978 founded the first professional language school in Plymouth. She joined the city’s Chamber of Commerce where she was elected Chairman in 1988 and went on to found their international division. She was also a founder member of the Plymouth Marketing Bureau and in 2006 was awarded Business Woman of the Year for the South West. In 2009 she was thrilled to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Education from the University of Plymouth.
