English UK South West member schools are currently preparing for the first Annual General Meeting of the organisation which is being hosted at Bicton College in Devon. In addition to the AGM and a lecture by Tony Millns of English UK, members are able to attend a number of lectures and workshops on management, marketing, teaching and learning in the EFL field.

UKBA has recently announced some additional changes to conditions for obtaining and studying in the UK on a General Student Visa. This mainly affects students from outside the European Union who wish to travel to the UK to study for more than 6 months.
