Octorial Programmes: Progress Driven
With courses designed to develop accurate and fluent use of the language in a learning environment conducive to high achievement. A large part of the daily programme is conducted in small classes of 8 students, thus allowing for active participation and close monitoring of results.

The day is divided into a number of sessions, each one with a clear language improvement focus and each one delivered in the learning environment most likely to achieve the learning goals.
The programme is based around Octorial (maximum of 8 participants per class) lessons which are designed to concentrate on stimulating accurate reactions so that the use of the language rapidly becomes instinctive.
The teaching staff are highly motivated professionals. Their energy and enthusiasm is shared by the non-teaching staff. The friendly team is committed to making every student’s stay as successful and enjoyable as possible.
Octorial classes in grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are combined with Spoken Performance Workshops, Plenary and Masterclass sessions each day.
Exams (IELTS, TOEIC, BULATS, RELTA)
Students wishing to take an official exam are exposed to exam requirements with active practice on past papers under timed conditions to foster familiarity with the exam. We are an accredited TOEIC, BULATS and RELTA test centre.

OISE Bristol’s commitment to excellence goes beyond purely academic matters to include all aspects of your stay. In this respect accommodation is very much an integral part of the course. Each school therefore has a dedicated Accommodation Officer whose role is to ensure that students have a comfortable, welcoming place to go after a hard day’s study.
